OUR PURPOSE

Elohim Vision exists to strengthen the network surrounding children and families impacted by foster care.

​

When a child enters foster care, the impact reaches far beyond the child. Children may suddenly be separated from their parents, siblings, belongings, school routines, and everything that feels familiar. Foster and kinship caregivers may be called upon with little notice to provide a safe and welcoming home. Parents may be facing some of the most difficult circumstances of their lives while working to create the stability their families need.

CONNECTING
Connecting children, families, caregivers, professionals, and community partners to resources and opportunities that can provide support.

SUPPORTING
Providing immediate essentials and comfort to children entering foster care through First-Night Support, helping make an unfamiliar transition a little easier.

NAVIGATING
Helping families and caregivers identify needs, understand available resources, and determine where they can turn for additional support.

ADVOCATING
Helping families identify barriers, understand available options, connect with appropriate resources, and follow up when additional support is needed.

STABILIZING
Connecting families to resources that can help address practical barriers such as transportation, employment, housing, documentation, education, and other essential needs.

STRENGTHENING
Building partnerships among businesses, nonprofits, professionals, agencies, volunteers, and community organizations to create a stronger network of support around children and families.

Our purpose extends beyond providing immediate supplies. We connect the dots so children and families don't have to navigate everything alone.
